There is no better feeling than being surrounded by family and love. You never know how much you miss something until you cant have it or be with it. I picked up everyone from BWI last night at 7:30pm. I went through the terminal 3 times before I found the cell phone lot. Just as soon as I parked, Kevin called and told me that his plane had arrived. The car was a little cramped, but we all made it safe and sound to Delaware.
Let me tell you. My niece is amazing. She is smiling, interacting, eating, walking (some) and just being great. Granted, she does scream [a lot], but she has no other way to communicate, so it's hard to blame her. She did let me hold her last night while we were in Wawa!! She didn't let me hold me for even one minute six months ago in California. It was AMAZING! It was such a special feeling. And of course, my John bear is being as cute and sweet as ever. Its good seeing Kevin and Lisa too. I got Kevin that awesome coffee from Hyperion and he is so excited about it! He said it tastes soooooo good! Its awesome how close my brother and I have become. Its like, all the year apart some how brought us closer. We get along so well now. I guess that's the best part of having family and growing older. We opened christmas presents, (and by we, I mean 98% John) and Mom and Dad got me a bunch of gift cards and some camisoles and underwear.
I showed everyone the wedding dress(es) that I have been considering. They loved them :) Can't wait for mom to see me in them for real! I told mom that if Kevin and the family are coming to the East Coast in 2012, they better plan for it to be in June so they can be at our wedding!! I dont want them to miss it. It's important for me to have my family present. I dont have much family and I want to be as close as possible with the family I have.
ohhhhhh, forgot to mention that today is my Dad's 67th birthday too! Its been forever since everyone has been together!! Well, on that note, I'm going to get back to playing with John bear. Thanks for reading.
